１１月のはじめに１１歳になる女の子に、例年手作りのものを上げていた。2014年はミニチュアハウス（期間３ケ月） 2015年はオルゴールと同調して回転する観覧車（期間１ケ月）だった。上げるたびに狂喜だった。
今年は時間もなく、スペインに行ったときマドリードで買っておいたブリキの自転車を中心に据え置き、そそくさとこしらえた。テーマはｽﾍﾟｲﾝの街角を子犬と自転車で散歩する若者だ。荷台には子犬もちょこんと乗っているのが愛嬌だが、ワイフの評価は「主張すべきポイントがわからない」とあっけなく一蹴された。やはりそうかもしれない。なにしろ日本にいる間は①企業数社かの依頼業務 ②中国企業のデータ分析 ③別宅の草取りなどがあり、まとまった時間は無いのだ、と言い訳。仕事のやりすぎで肩も相当に凝ってきたな。
