造船業界の団体に続き。今度は型をあつかう企業団だ、曲げ、切断、樹脂成型、ダイキャストなど様々。通訳の中国女性はそれなりに訳してくれるが、いかんせん本質は技術屋にかなわない。とことん噛みあわない場合は、絵を描いての質疑応答だ。日本と違いいねむりなど居ないどころか、彼らの熱意はすごい。一般に中国人は「お金で技術を丸ごと買ってしまえ」式が多いが、日本は「極める」ことに価値を見出す。従って型も「持ちがいい(寿命が長い）」のだ。型の表面だけを固くする方法は色々あるが、中身もきっちり品質管理されていないと達成されない。刀鍛冶の精神が受け継がれているのだ。今回は遅刻はできないので蒲田に前泊した。
